1. Read "My Mom Couldn't Cook" by Tom Junod from "My mother" to "My mother was a good mother."
2. Choose a family member you want to share with the world. 3. Decide why you want to share this person with others. Is he/she someone you look up to, despise, find hilarious, find confusing, think is going to change the world? 4. Think of an anecdote that involves this person. Write it down with as much detail as you can. 5. Based on the scene you’ve written, is there a universal human experience you can connect to? 1. Share "Your Name" essay 2. Read "Reflections" (attached below) 3. Prompt: Walk around the school for 5 minutes and choose an inanimate object that you see everyday and write down as many details as you can about it. Generate a story for that object. Consider how it has been used. The things that it has seen. It’s place in your life. 25-30 sentences minimum.
